The MountainView is better known as the Martin's 699 or 'The Ruud'. The dimensions are 30" x 18" x 60". This is yet another Martin's cage and we are very happy with it. My only complaint, as with the others, is the wire mesh levels. The other issue I have with this one is simply stability. While the cage is sturdy, it seems to lean forward on its foundation a bit. I prefer solid shelving, so I cover the levels either with linoleum or with carpeting. With this one, we didn't get the flip top, but it is still something I'd recommend for any Martin's cage!
The top level is a bedroom and bathroom, and off of this room, there is a hammock hanging to lounge in. The next level down is the kitchen and dining area. The next level is one of the main rooms, where there is a bathroom, wheel, and play area. The next level has a snack bar and yet another bathroom, and off this room is another hammock. The next level is another full one with bathroom and play area. The next level is for the PVC tubing, which they love to hang out in. The bottom level houses the main bathroom, another bedroom, and play area. Each area is always full of toys and I rotate boxes and treats for extra fun.
The MountainView is always undergoing change to keep the environment enriched and the ready built cage makes it easy to do! We love it!
