March 2005 - Note that prior to adoption, Angel had sustained injuries, which are now healed. Right eye was punctured and portion of tail was broken off. See photo of eye at right.

April 11, 2005 - Weight 11oz. (0.69lb.).

May 16, 2005 - Weight 12.5oz. (0.78lb.).

October 17, 2005 - Weight 14.12oz. (0.88lb.).

January 7, 2006 - Noticed bloody discharge from vaginal area. Will observe.

May 14, 2006 - Soft lump in left groin. Will observe. Also, no discharge since last noted. Weight 14.12oz. (0.88lb.).

June 7, 2006 - Had mass (see right) removed surgically. Cost of procedure and meds $238.00. Mass was found to be firmly attached to the abdominal fat & muscle, and although mainly encapsulated, it also had some finger-like projections. Although we did not send the mass in to be tested, it appears to be benign, although not likely mammary in origin.

July 17, 2006 - Bloody discharge from vaginal area is occurring again. Will continue to observe.

September 5, 2006 - Weight 16.5oz (1.03lb.).

November 15, 2006 - Weight 14.63oz (0.91lb.).

March 5, 2007 - Although no more blood discharge has been observed, Angel does have small mammary tumors under each of her front armpits, and the mass in her groin is also returning. Due to the location and previous history of difficult removal in this area, surgery will not be elected on this tumor. It is slow growing at this time, so we will continue to observe all three.

July 3, 2007 - Due to the continued growth of the three tumors, and the now apparentness of Angel's discomfort, we chose to euthanize and cremate. Cost of euthanasia and cremation $28.00.
