Surgery was completed with the installation of a drain to keep the area open, but Grace was not recovering from the long anesthesia and highly invasive surgery. We chose to euthanize after more than an hour and a half of recovery effects. Necropsy revealed highly advanced zymbal gland cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). Cost of procedure $301.00. February 19, 2005 - Grace was cremated. Cost of procedure $15.00. |
