September 13, 2002 - Initial exam. Fecal exam (negative).

June 28, 2003 - Weight 12oz. (0.75lb.).

October 8, 2003 - Teeth trimmed due to malocclusion of bottom teeth.

December 23, 2003 - Teeth trimmed. Weight 12oz. (0.75lb.).

March 6, 2004 - Teeth trimmed.

May 21, 2004 - Right eye swelling, so took to vet for exam. Diagnosis was a beginning cataract with mild glaucoma, which does not appear to be causing discomfort at this point. Will observe. Teeth trimmed. You can see the swelling in Miko's eye from the glaucoma in the picture at right.

June 24, 2004 - Teeth trimmed. Weight 12oz. (0.75lb.).

July 28, 2004 - Teeth trimmed. Valium 1.75mg given 1 hour prior to appointment.

August 16, 2004 - Teeth trimmed under gas anesthetic. One small tumor in left armpit and two small tumors in lower abdomen discovered. Weight 12oz. (0.75lb.).

September 13, 2004 - Tumor in armpit surgically removed, however upon inspection, the other suspected lumps were part of an abcess that was pushing outside of the body, but vaginal in origin. Abcess debrided. Baytril given 2 weeks following surgery. Metacam given for post-op pain. Teeth trimmed. Cost of procedure and medication $130.00.

October 8, 2004 - Teeth trimmed under gas anesthetic. Full cataract in right eye and worsening glaucoma, but still with no obvious discomfort. Will continue to observe. You can see the cataract in the picture at right. Cost of procedure $45.00.

November 2, 2004 - Large mass discovered in abdomen. Will observe for a couple weeks. Weight 11oz. (0.69lb.).

November 6, 2004 - Passed away very unexpectedly with all three of her sisters with her at the time. Cause of death was most likely related to the mass (suspected cancer) in her abdomen, but a necropsy was not elected due to the timing of her death.
